Pre Workshop 1 (ages 7 – 8) three-day session at the end of Week 1. Pre Workshop II (ages 9 – 10) three-day session at the end of Week 3. Cost is $135 for the workshop (you are responsible for your own room and board). Application fee is $15.

Chautauqua Connections

One way to become involved in the dance program at Chautauqua is by becoming a member of “Chautauqua Connections” which sponsors Festival and Apprentice dancers. Dancers (usually in pairs) are connected with sponsors who provide non-financial support along with a home cooked meal, a batch of cookies, a listening ear and having a “special fan” at performances. Information will be sent to enrolled students in the Spring. Contact Susan Helm at smhelm@clockwinders.net or 502.897.3870 for more information.

Chautauqua Dance Circle

The Chautauqua Dance Circle is a supportive, enthusiastic link between the Dance Program and the Chautauqua Community. It is dedicated to assuring that Chautauqua Dance remains competitive with other summer dance programs, and continues its tradition of excellence. Each year a major portion of Chautauqua Dance Circle’s annual dues will go toward a student scholarship presented to the Chautauqua Institution earmarked Chautauqua Dance Circle-Dance Scholarship. For more information contact Bonnie Crosby (bcrosby1940@hotmail.com) or Mimi Eddleman (myeddle@aol.com), co-presidents.
