We offer over 75 free programs in 2010 including nature walks, lectures, flower arranging, storytelling and much more. Check our programs in the Chautauquan Daily or pick up a program brochure on the grounds.
We are about education.
We seek to educate Chautauquans about environmentally friendly lawn, garden and tree care, water quality, our local ecosystem and natural history. We promote preservation of our tree canopy and of the bat and bird populations that ensure our mosquito-free surroundings.
We are about improving Chautauqua.
We recently financed the replacement of a brick walk behind Smith Wilkes Hall and the widening of the Brick Walk in the ravine to Thunder Bridge. We support the maintenance of some gardens on the grounds and donate regularly to the replacement of trees in Chautauqua.
