Studio manager - Matt Wilson
Serving first as an assistant and later as a full audio engineer at Chautauqua Institution over three years, Matt Wilson now serves as studio manager and head engineer of Cohen Recording Studio. A graduate of the SUNY Fredonia Sound Recording Technology program, Matt has studied under Bernd Gottinger and Dave Fridmann, a well-known industry name. In addition to his studies, Matt has worked on numerous outside projects, including:

• Jazz combos with and without a vocalist
• Rock groups of many subgenres
• Brass band
• Classical music
• Archiving

Matt is an accomplished percussionist, holding a BM in Performance from SUNY Fredonia and currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Performance. With a small collection of personal instruments, Matt can provide an assortment of additional sounds at your request.

Assistant engineer - Brandon Battles
Studio assistant Brandon Battles is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Sound Recording Technology from SUNY Fredonia. In addition to recording numerous musical artists, Brandon also is an active electronic composer and musician, performing in the Western New York Region.
