Known as the "Grand Dame" of the Chautauqua Institution, the Athenaeum has been serving guests in style since 1881. Listed on the National Historic Register, this hotel offers 156 uniquely appointed guest rooms and the ambience of a bygone era. It is available for conferences and special events outside the Chautauqua Institution's nine-week summer program during the months of May, June, September and October.
