Food-court-style dining offers a variety of foods at a very
reasonable price. Similar to college dining halls, Bellinger
Hall’s meals are all-inclusive and all-you-can-eat. Bellinger is a
good place to stop and eat after a workout.

“Brown Bagger” at Alumni Hall

Food For Thought
Located in the St. Elmo
Food for Thought provides delicious, fresh-baked breads and
pastries along with sandwiches and salads. Centrally located
on Bestor Plaza, this air conditioned restaurant is a great
place to grab ice cream, desserts, coffee, lattes, smoothies
or iced beverages on your way to the lake or to a program.
Food for Thought also has party trays available.

Located on corner of Pratt & Scott
Hurlbut features a sociable church fellowship atmosphere and
can accommodate large groups. Lunches offer six selections:
soup and sandwich, fruit platter, turkey salad, veggie wrap,
soup and salad and the daily special. Thursday’s dinner is
turkey with a wide variety of homemade desserts.

Tally Ho offers breakfast and dinner daily, as well as brunch
on Sundays. Centrally located at the Tally Ho Hotel, the
restaurant is just a step away from Bestor Plaza. A great
place to sit down and enjoy a meal or take advantage of their
delicious breakfast and dinner buffet, or takeout buffet — pay
by the pound — before heading off to the Amphitheater.

The Double Eagle
at the Chautauqua Golf Club
Operated by Andriaccio’s. Featuring breakfast items such
as bagels, muffins and fresh fruit to lunch menu items such
as grilled panini sandwiches, wraps and subs. The Double
Eagle features daily specials and a wide variety of snacks

Bonar’s offers a family style atmosphere with friendly service. Full,

This classic American ice cream stand is located
across from Mayville Park, just 2.5 miles from Chautauqua
Institution. It offers soft serve and hard ice cream,
frozen yogurt, sundaes and shakes.

Dick’s Harbor House
1950s-style family diner atmosphere serving breakfast,
lunch and dinner daily. Traditional American comfort food,
salad bar, daily specials.

of our area. Whether you’re embracing an old friend or
entertaining family over a savory meal, we’re the place to
go for an elegant, cozy setting. We have a full menu to
sear even the most selective appetites and a bar that offers
spirits and cheer. Matching the design of The Lakeview,
you and your guests also have the option to enjoy your
time together outdoors on our newly-remodeled wraparound

The Lakeview Hotel & Restaurant
The Lakeview Hotel & Restaurant offers a robust selection
of delicious appetizers, meals, and desserts served in
our dining area. Since our town hosts the extremes of all
four seasons and a view of our beautiful lake, you and

patio and upper deck during the summer. Our bar serves

Just 1 mile from Chautauqua traveling toward Mayville. The
Lighthouse offers fresh-made subs, deli-style salads, soups

Olde Corner Deli
An old-fashioned rural corner store and deli offering cold
and deli hot sandwiches and subs, snacks, desserts and
beverages. Turn right at the light in the center of Mayville,
continue 2 miles to Centralia-Hartfield Road, turn left and
proceed just past the Dart Airport.

Located at 21 South Erie Street in downtown Mayville.
Family casual atmosphere with American traditional fare
with brunch and lunch features daily. Specializing in artisan
pizza. Great for those with children. Takeout available.

Pauper offers a full selection of lunch and dinner entrees
complemented by locally brewed beers and a full

Located less than a mile from Chautauqua Institution
traveling toward Mayville. The 1950s-style drive-in diner
offers classic burgers, fries, hot dogs, sandwiches and

The Sweet Spot
Cafe, bakery, and gift shop located at 4 North Erie St. in
Mayville, across from the Chautauqua County courthouse.
Specializing in delicious sandwiches and homemade soups
using fresh ingredients. Decadent desserts including
gourmet cheesecakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Stop in for
dessert or place an order for your special events.

Webb’s Captain’s Table
Webb’s dining rooms offer a comfortable atmosphere
appointed with rich wood paneling and solid oak booths.
Both the main dining room and the Lookout room offer
beautiful views of Chautauqua Lake. The main dining room
boasts a cozy wood-burning fireplace—the only one in the
area. Our menu features fresh seafood, steak, chicken, veal
and vegetarian selections. Our weekly menu insert features
our chef’s selection of appetizer, salad and entrée, as well
as a wine selection accompanied with daily specials.
The Deck at Webb’s is a second-story-open-air, 60-seat
deck with a gorgeous view of Chautauqua Lake. Join us for
lunch or dinner and relax with a cool drink from the Deck’s
full service bar. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
