You should check whether or not the owner of your accommodation permits house pets. Pets should be registered (for a $1 fee) at the Chautauqua Police Department on the grounds. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are not permitted in certain areas on the grounds. With the exception of dogs assisting disabled people, pets are not permitted in any Chautauqua Institution buildings or program facilities. Clean-up bags for your dog are available free of charge at five locations on the grounds.
