If your accommodation has a kitchen, you may want to stock up on the basics before departing for Chautauqua, because there is no super market on the grounds. During the summer season, there is a farmers market with fresh produce, baked goods, etc. and limited convenience store-type items are available on the grounds. More complete grocery shopping is available at markets from two to ten miles away. During the season, there are dining facilities on the grounds that offer a variety of menus and atmospheres for your enjoyment. You may enjoy alcoholic beverages in your lodging, and beer and wine may be ordered with your meal at licensed restaurants on the grounds.
