Saturday, August 29, 8:15 p.m. Elvis Costello & The Sugarcanes - Since the release of his first record in 1977, Elvis Costello has given new definition to Alternative Rock. His fiercely literate lyrics are supported by his richly diverse music. His eclectic career has been shaped by the influences of punk, country, rock, blues, jazz and classical. He has emerged as one of the most innovative, influential, and best songwriters since Bob Dylan. He is joined by The Sugarcanes for his first Chautauqua show.
