Jennifer L. Turner
is coordinator the China Environment Forum, and senior project
associate of the Environmental Change and Security Project (ECSP)
at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington,
D.C. Since 1994, the ECSP has explored the connections between
major challenges such as population growth, water scarcity, forced
migration, degraded ecosystems, and pandemic disease and their
links to conflict, human insecurity and foreign policy. Ms.
Turner earned her Ph.D. in public policy and comparative politics
from Indiana University, and her Chinese Language Certificate
from Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. Ms. Turner is a scholar
of China and environmental policy in the U.S. and Asia. She
has taught at two universities in China in addition to Winthrop
University in South Carolina and Indiana University where she
was honored with the Outstanding Faculty Award and Outstanding
Instructor Award, respectively. |
