FRIENDS OF WRITERS' CENTER

The Writers' Center at Chautauqua offers a wonderful opportunity for writers of all experience levels to participate in workshops taught by highly qualified, published authors. These workshops are in keeping with the Chautauqua Institution's historical support of the literary arts.

Writers' Center Friends is an organization of people who appreciate and support the literary arts, whether they are writers or readers. Throughout the Chautauqua summer season WCF provides social and intellectual events that bring together those who enjoy prose, poetry, and non-fiction of all types. The WCF is also instrumental in supporting the Chautauqua Literary Journal, a nationally recognized publication whose contributors have been honored in many ways, including the prestigious Pushcart Prize.
